Apply Sportscreen about 30 minutes before going out in the sun. Be sure to massage the creme in evenly over all exposed areas, especially the vulnerable skin around your face, neck and ears, inside your knees and elbows, and on the tops of your hands and feet. Avoid direct contact with your eyes. Reapply after prolonged sunning or swimming, always on dry skin.

Be extra careful with sun exposure at high altitudes, where you're literally closer to the sun. The same holds true for snow and sand, which intensify the sun's effect on your skin. The effectiveness of sunscreens diminishes when they've been left opened more than six months. Be sure to replace them to ensure safer sunning.
